All Sorts of Random Help Needed, Folks!

Time is cracking on, folks, less than two weeks to go now, and we’re all very excited. If you’d like to help out with the Morecambe Variety Festival, there are still a few things we really need to do, and your help would be gratefully appreciated!!!

First, we need someone to find/make 3 really long extension leads as they need to reach from the Royal Box stage left up to the stalls for the Spotlight.

Then, we’ll need a standard lamp. Do you have a spare standard lamp trailing about that you could possibly lend us for the weekend??

Next, we are desperate to find a fridge/wine cooler as there is as yet nothing like this at The Winter Gardens. Anyone who is able to drop of that Thursday would be a god send. Do you have a spare fridge? An extra fridge? Do you have a fridge that is still working which you would like to donate? (they don’t have to be vintage, or gas-powered!)

For electricians and practical people…The Get In will be Thursday 3rd May all day, stage set and lights. Is anyone free on this day to help us out? This will involve moving and setting up stage sets, lighting, practical stuff. Anyone who can lift, shift and wire would be great!

May Bank Holiday, after the festival, we will need to get help cleaning and also breaking down sets Chamber of Horrors Etc. Are you free on this day? Are you practical, or a potential Mrs Mop? Are you a domestic diva that loves to flash a brush and pan?

Finally looking for two bar staff for Saturday night- paid work but need trustworthy and reliable helpers for three hours as well. Have you got bar staff experience? Are you willing to lend a hand? Do you know any excellent bar staff? Do you mix a mean Manhattan or a modish Mojito?
