Fabulous 40s 40th at Carnforth’s ‘Brief Encounter’ Tearoooms!


Interesting reading over on Itsy Bitsy Vintage’s blog about a 40s-themed 40th they staged at Carnforth Railway Station’s tearoom. Carnforth is the railway station chiefly famed for being the place where Trevor Howard and Celia Johnson famously experienced their ‘Brief Encounter’ in the 1945 film of that name.
